We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Vintage Clothing Grader to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in assessing the quality of vintage clothing items and accessories. Your keen eye for fashion, understanding of vintage trends, and meticulous attention to detail will enable you to grade items accurately for our inventory.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and grade vintage clothing and accessories based on a variety of factors, such as condition, age, style, material, and market demand.
- Accurately identify and classify clothing from various eras and styles.
- Record detailed notes about each item, including any damage, repairs, or unique attributes.
- Photograph items and write descriptions for online listings.
- Assist in pricing items based on their grade and current market trends.
- Work closely with our buying and selling team to ensure inventory is kept organized and accessible.
- Stay up-to-date on vintage fashion trends, and provide recommendations for acquiring specific items.
- Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience in grading or appraising vintage clothing or a related field, or equivalent experience in the vintage retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of fashion history, with an emphasis on vintage styles and trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle imperfections or signs of wear.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage and track multiple items at once.
- Photography skills and ability to write clear, concise descriptions for online listings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, lift, and handle clothing items for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with online sales platforms like Etsy, eBay, or Depop.
