Warranty Administrator

**Summary**

A Claims Processor holds a key position in our warranty claiming process and is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the quality of the claims we submit. This is work from home position for employees located in Ontario, Canada. The employee is required to supply their workspace, computer and high-speed internet connection.

**Essential Duties**
- Identifying instances where dealers have deviated from manufacturers’ policies and procedures and make recommendations for corrections.
- Selecting appropriate claim type
- Coding of warranty claims to Fords requirements
- Verifying parts used are applicable to the repair made
- Identifying reimbursable areas that the dealer has not listed for claiming
- Verifying all required documents to support the claim are available
- Correcting returned repairs in OWS
- Maintain a sufficient volume of claims

**The Claims Processor must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas**:

- Labour Time Standards (SLTS)
- Ford Warranty & Policy
- Technical workings of an automobile
- Ford part numbering system
- OWS online claiming system
- Operation of various dealership computer systems is an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy
- Effective written communication skills
- Decision making skills
- Professionalism

**Required Education and Experience**
- 5+ years experience as Service manager, Warranty Administrator, Dispatcher or Technician in a Ford dealership is required.
- High school or equivalent

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.20-$24.87 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
