**4 ‑ Casual ‑ Lab Specimen Procurement Technicians**

**Clinical Laboratories**

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Laboratory Assistant (Phlebotomy) certification from an accredited agency
- Must be a CSMLS and/or OSMT certified Medical Laboratory Assistant
- Phlebotomy experience, related to above listed duties
- Professional conduct around patients and other health care professionals
- Experience in dealing with Point of Care instrumentation would be an asset

Duties Include:

- Phlebotomy ‑ veni/skin punctures, including neonatal / paediatric collections, and difficult draws ‑ intensive and

special care areas
- Filing/stocking of supplies and any other assigned duties
- Organizational skills and good communication skills are essential
- Available shifts may be 4, 6, 8 or 12 hours in length
- Scheduling
- Assisting with TBRHSC Point of Care program

Salary Range: $28.170 to 32.110
