**Job Summary**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Program, setup, and validate CNC bending and welding machines according to product specifications, including selection of tooling, creation of CNC programs, and validation of machine setups through measurement and inspection of test pieces.
- Test and adjust machine parameters to ensure quality and efficiency, including optimization of CNC parameters such as band radius and lengths to achieve high-quality bending and welding with mínimal scrap and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and breakdowns, including identification and replacement of faulty components, adjustment of machine settings, and coordination with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, including regular cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of consumable items such as welding tips and nozzles.
- Work with production teams to ensure changeovers are completed on time, including coordination with material handlers to change raw material.
- Document CNC machine settings and processes for future reference, including maintaining detailed setup sheets and job instructions, tracking equipment performance metrics such as uptime and scrap rate, and documenting machine modifications or upgrades.
- Train operators on CNC machine operation and safety procedures, including conducting hands-on training sessions, developing training materials such as SOPs and work instructions, and ensuring operators are properly trained and certified before operating equipment independently.
- Monitor CNC machine performance and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality, including analyzing production data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and proposing changes to processes or equipment to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or welding preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive industry
- Experience with CNC bending and welding techniques, including programming and validation of CNC machines and processes
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including familiarity with CAD/CAM software, GD&T, and metrology equipment such as micrometers and height gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including blueprints, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide training and guidance to operators and technicians.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and support team members to achieve common goals.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
