Onsite Estimator

FestiLight is seeking a motivated and personable **Onsite Estimator - Seasonal** to join our team for the upcoming holiday season This exciting role involves conducting on-site consultations with potential customers, assessing their holiday lighting needs, and providing accurate estimates for our custom lighting services.
As the face of FestiLight during the initial customer interaction, you will use your people skills to build rapport, discuss design ideas, and present estimates that align with customer preferences. This role combines sales, design consultation, and customer service, making it ideal for someone who loves working with people, has a good aesthetic sense, and is detail-oriented.

**Work Schedule**:Monday - Friday (flexibility for one weekend day, 08:30 am - 05:00 pm (Full-time) )
**Duration**: As soon as possible to December 15, 2024 (with possibility of extension)
**Work Location**: In-Person at 17700 River Road, Richmond, BC, V6V 1L9
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct on-site estimates around Metro Vancouver
- Build strong rapport with customers upon arrival, explaining the estimate process
- Perform property walkarounds with customers to understand their lighting needs
- Discuss project scope, design preferences, and create urgency for booking
- Present FestiLight’s value propositions and demonstrate product quality using a lighting display kit
- Take accurate measurements and photos for creating estimates
- Prepare and present estimates onsite, clearly explaining pricing structures
- Close sales by encouraging customers to book installations during the visit
- Identify upsell opportunities and generate new leads during customer visits
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales acumen and ability to close deals
- High attention to detail for accurate measurements and estimates
- Proficiency with mobile devices for taking photos and inputting data
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak season
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in sales, estimating, or the holiday lighting industry
- Familiarity with Jobber or similar CRM software
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and outdoor lighting installation
**Salary**: $25-27 per hour plus 2% commission
**Expected Start Date**:As soon as possible
**Expected End Date: December 15, 2024 (with possibility of extension)**
