AECOM Mississauga is looking for a Railway Construction Inspector, to work on a client sites based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Be resident at the place of work (on site) and work independently under the general direction of the contract administrator.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties to ensure work is in accordance with the requirements of Contract Documents.
- Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records and address non conformances in accordance with client requirements.
- Carry out quality assurance and quality control functions to confirm contractor’s adherence to the contract requirements
- Keep track of work on site and record changes for completion of as-built drawings.
- Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
- Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering OR Technical Diploma + 2 years relevant experience OR Highschool + 4 years relevant experience in inspection of heavy civil work in supervising construction sites, field engineering, site work inspections in the railway right of way for Class 1 railway.

Preferred Qualifications
- P.Eng. or an E I T Ontario, designation is an asset
- CET ON is an asset
