We are a **growing** Design, Engineering & Manufacturing company based in South Surrey with clients across North America. Our 40-person team manufactures everything from one-off custom products for the entertainment industry; to high volume products for a specific customer, to in-house products and systems through a variety of distribution channels to multiple markets and customer segments.
- If you are energetic, driven and excited about leading a growing production team with domestic design, engineering & manufacturing_, you might be the perfect fit to join our team as a **Production Manager**. The ideal individual has 5+ years experience driving a team in a manufacturing environment with excellent leadership skills and proven experience mentoring a group of individuals from Problem solving, Process improvements to Logistics, while having fun.

You will be responsible for all operations ensuring the manufacturing processes run safely effectively and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. You will be involved in the pre/post-production planning and execution stages. You will work collaboratively with all business units to achieve the company's strategic and operational goals. You are the key agent for improvement in Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee a workforce of 20+ team members from various departments
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Create and/or oversee schedules for team members to ensure optimum staffing levels
- Set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals, as needed, within all departments, communicate them to key personnel and monitor
- Estimate/Analyze costs and prepare budgets, report KPIs
- Ability to motivate, coach and mentor team members on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
- Supervise and evaluate performance of team members
- Leading the human resources activities for your team/departments
- Work closely with other business units including Sales and Design/Engineering to problem solve and provide solutions to meet customer expectations
- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and mínimal downtime
- Creating/Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to other business units and/or senior management
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity

**Skills/Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking required
- Excellent project management skills
- Technical experience an asset as well as Steel Fabrication experience in construction
- Good understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
