The Catalog Administrator follows internal procedures to work through specific task lists related to the product catalog for Gabriel Ross. Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. The Catalog Administrator knows that daily challenges bring new opportunities for e-commerce operations. With mínimal supervision, this role requires a solid work ethic with a strong emphasis on production, and a keen ability to work with other EComm team members including Marketing and Sales. It is essential for this role to understand the business operations so that they can work towards providing the best online shopping experience for a sophisticated and knowledgeable type of customer that is Gabriel Ross’ target demographic.

Examples of Responsibilities:

- Capturing new catalog data including imagery, options, prices, descriptions, and various other attributes
- Communicating with vendors to gather relevant and current information
- Ensuring pricing updates are completed in a timely manner, while maintaining high level of accuracy
- Regular review of catalog work completed by subcontractors
- Managing and prioritizing high-volume workload using internal ticket management system
- Using information provided by Marketing staff and Vendors to update internal Marketing Calendar showing what brands/products will be discounted during what specific date range.
- Turning on/off Sales Discounts and working closely with Marketing team to ensure homepage and product pages are presentable and relevant

Qualifications:

- Strong spreadsheet skills such as MS Office Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to follow tasks and work through project lists
- Superior Computer technical skills with programs and operating systems.
- Product inventory experience working with SKUs and catalogs
- Professional business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with online web platforms (preferably Magento Commerce 2) and ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
