**Position: Financial Analyst / FP&A**
**Department: Finance & Accounting**
**Reporting to: Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis**
**Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)**
**Status: Full-Time, Permanent**

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide financial planning and track actual results versus plans to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Work alongside the business to develop their annual budget and quarterly forecasts including analysis on the drivers of operational results, risks & opportunities, trends, variances, and commentary.
- Create and manage forecasts and budgets across various departments to ensure proper allocation of resources.
- Act as a business partner to internal departments and Senior Management, providing and reviewing financial information and analysis to make informed business decisions.
- Conduct planning and budgeting reviews with internal teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance and Accounting, to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and monitor actual results versus forecasts, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvements and identify areas of efficiency to enhance overall financial performance.
- Partner with the Finance and Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely data.
- Deliver accurate and insightful ad-hoc analyses and reports while ensuring tight deadlines are always met.
- University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or IT preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant Finance experience
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required.
- Experience with planning tools, project management tools and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
- Possess both strategic and hands-on capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and a proven track record of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting firm deadlines.

**Nice-to-Haves but Not Musts**:

- Completion of or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Experience with Canadian accounting and finance procedures is an asset.
- Experience with ERP Systems and Power BI
