**Summary**:
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Administrator. The incumbent will support and ensure that QC/QA comply with the contract. They will Inspect and monitor the site in accordance with the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and project Quality Management Plan (QMP). This is a vital role to collect and formulate data and provide information to the Project teams.
**As a QC Administrator, You Will**:
- Collect, input, and maintain accurate quality documentation, ensuring compliance to contract drawings and specifications
- Inspect and monitor materials and production to ensure all construction activities are conducted according to contract specifications, project QMP and corporate QMS
- Conduct quality audits by identifying, documenting, and providing solutions for Non-Conformances (NCRs), Corrective Action Requirements (CARs) and Preventative Actions (PARs)
**What You Will Bring?**:
- Engineering degree or technical diploma in construction management, construction engineering or civil engineering is required
- 3+ years’ relevant experience within the Heavy Civil Construction industry is preferred
- Familiarity with MTO and /or Metrolinx QC requirements is a definite asset
- Ability to interpret project contract terms, conditions, specifications, and project drawings etc.
- Basic knowledge of various construction disciplines, QA procedures, QC principles, quality plan development, quality inspection activities etc. is needed
- Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals and objectives
- Attention to detail, and superior organization skills to work well with shifting priorities and rapid change
- Strong ability to work with a highly functional team
- Good communication skills both spoken and written to present data and reports to stakeholders at various levels
- Valid Class G driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work nightshifts and weekends
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
