- How your role will add to the story- A day in the life- Lead the development and execution of best-in-class events aligned with the global brand strategy, latest product positioning and MBC requirements including sponsorships, consumer programs, media programs, driving programs, retail experiences, townhalls, all manager meetings, dealer meetings, recognition programs, holiday party, and ad hoc requests.
- Coordinate all planning and logístical matters related to a successful event including: sourcing and briefing agency partner, establishing workback schedules, sourcing venues, preparing supplier RFPs and contracts, coordinating audio-visual, confirming food and beverage requirements, overseeing guest management (invitation, registration, rooming lists, etc.), event set-up and tear down, guest logistics, all aspects of on-site hospitality, gifting, and other related tasks.
- Work cross functionally to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged to collaboratively help deliver a flawless execution of all programs.
- Assist in the planning of Mercedes-Benz Canada’s integrated brand experience plan.
- Maintain current partnerships and continuously evaluate the relationship to identify future opportunities with a focus on continuing to build and elevate Mercedes-Benz and its sub-brands in Canada.
- Manage administrative processes and approvals related to partnership & sponsorship activations with an emphasis on following clear processes as prescribed by the Compliance team.
- Manage financial resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and high performance. This includes individual event budget preparation and monitoring, with an emphasis on following clear processes as prescribed by the Finance and Controlling teams.
- Lead monitoring, analytics and support of CRM initiatives, measurement, strategic recommendation and presentation to management in terms of lead generation and sales funnel targets.
- Oversee the preparation of event wrap up reports.
