**In this role you will**
- Program (Mastercam) parts to be machined on digital controllers, milling 4 axes control Mitsubishi M80, perform set-up and machining of non-repetitive parts.
- Read plans, diagrams and sketch to determine how to proceed, the fixtures, the machining operations to be performed and determine the optimal sequence of operations.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances, measure and match the elements to be machined.
- Set, operate, and maintain lathes/millings and adjust different parts.
- Check with precision measuring instruments to see if product dimensions are accurate and notify the director of any deviation from the plans and quotes.

**We’d like to hear from you if you have**:

- 3-5 years of experience in machining in a manufacturing environment, with exposure of working with metal parts and conventional milling, lathe and CNC machines.
- Experience with setting up, adjusting, and operating all basic machine tools and other specialized tools to perform daily machining operations.
- A DEP in a technical field.
- Capability to perform tasks such as turning, boring, key way cutting, an profile machining.
- Ability to read blue prints and work orders.
- Water jet experience which is considered as an asset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to problem solve with little or no supervision.
