Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time Position for 40 hours per week, with guaranteed minimum hours of 74 hours per two weeks, and the possibility of overtime.

Monday to Friday, weekends off

6:00 - 2:30 - Pork Cut

7:00 - 3:30 - Kill Floor

**Salary**: $16.60/hour (with opportunities to increase your wages)

**Basically, what is the job?**

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

- Skin, clean, and trim carcasses and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
- Split and cut carcasses into smaller portions and different meat cuts to facilitate handling and further processing.
- Participate as needed in the removal of bones, skin, excess fat, bruises or other blemishes from carcasses or meat portions.
- Contribute to the production area housekeeping, packaging, and any other related task pursuant to the collective agreement.
- Manual dexterity, physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience or relevant certification is an asset but not required as complete on-the-job training is provided.
- Very noisy environment, exposure to rotating and sharp equipment/tools, numerous tasks going on at one time, being able to stay focused on your specific task.
- Preparing end products for consumers such as bacon, pork chops, roasts etc.
