CMA CGM Canada is looking for an intermodal Coordinator to handle truck dispatch. If you have transportation experience, advance excel skills and thrive working in a fast paced environment, we want to hear from you

- ** DESCRIPTION**:_

Responsible for handling, monitoring, and coordinating shipments for door collection and/or delivery in accordance with established truck distribution percentages. Works collaboratively with internal and external organizations to include customers, truck vendors, and CCA business teams to ensure Intermodal cargo is moved in an efficient and expedited manner.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Dispatch_
- Analyze, plan and prioritize inland haulage according to import/export timetables, terminal/rail schedules, special equipment needs, and client-specific delivery conditions
- Facilitates the movement of containers that have been miss-routed and/or improperly discharged due to vessel by-passes, errors, or equipment emergencies
- Responsible to confirm and manage in-house truck availability
- Creates and issues work orders for the door collection and/or delivery in accordance with established truck rates and distribution percentages
- Service Delivery Coordination_
- Monitors shipments by tracking and tracing containers, via multiple interfaces, to ensure door appointments are met and cargo is loaded/delivered timely
- Communicates to customer(s) of potential delays or issues preventing dispatch and maintains customer interactions until all delivery requirements are satisfied
- Works collaboratively with internal departments to expedite transport
- Cost Management_
- Notify and invoice/rebill customers for additional transport related expenses including but not limited to: Pre-pulls, Revenue generating trucker yard and container yard storage, Multi stops, Drop and picks
- Research and reconcile truck and customer invoice discrepancies
- Identify opportunities through micro analysis of customer locations for cost savings which includes match backs/one ways
- Vendor Management_
- Monitors and reports trucker performance

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- : Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field an asset
- : Strong understanding of transportation and logistics.

- Ability to multi task and prioritize time sensitive issues
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities,
- A customer-focused mindset.
- Proactive, well organized and detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication, (French and english)

**DESCRIPTION DU POSTE**:
Responsable de la gestion, du suivi et de la coordination des expéditions pour la collecte et/ou la livraison à domicile conformément aux pourcentages de distribution des camions établis. Travaille en collaboration avec des organisations internes et externes, y compris les clients, les fournisseurs de camions et les équipes commerciales de la CCA, pour garantir que le fret intermodal est déplacé de manière efficace et rapide.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**:

- Répartition_
- Analyser, planifier et prioriser le transport intérieur en fonction des horaires d'import/export, des horaires des terminaux/rails, des besoins en équipements spéciaux et des conditions de livraison spécifiques aux clients.
- Facilite le déplacement des conteneurs qui ont été mal acheminés et/ou déchargés de manière incorrecte en raison de contournements de navires, d'erreurs ou d'urgences d'équipement.
- Responsable de confirmer et de gérer la disponibilité des camions en interne.
- Crée et émet des ordres de travail pour la collecte et/ou la livraison à domicile conformément aux tarifs de camionnage et aux pourcentages de distribution établis.
- Coordination de la prestation de services_
- Surveille les expéditions en suivant et en traçant les conteneurs, via plusieurs interfaces, pour s'assurer que les rendez-vous à domicile sont respectés et que le fret est chargé/livré en temps voulu.
- Communique avec le(s) client(s) en cas de retards potentiels ou de problèmes empêchant la répartition et maintient les interactions avec les clients jusqu'à ce que toutes les exigences de livraison soient satisfaites.
- Travaille en collaboration avec les départements internes pour accélérer le transport.
- Gestion des coûts_
- Notifier et facturer/réfacturer les clients pour les frais de transport supplémentaires, y compris mais sans s'y limit
