At **The Truck Outfitters**, we appreciate the opportunity to understand and service our customers' needs. Having a successful business means having a dedicated and passionate team. We want to add a new team member to our Edmonton South location as **Woodshop Technician**.

Our woodshop department is looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, quick learner to cut and build truck box wood liners, pack rats and more, as well as staining the wood.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design, produce, and build wood products for trucks
- Assemble pieces using hand tools
- Use automated machinery, such as a CNC machine
- Set up and operate drill presses, table saws, lathes, routers, sanders, wood-nail gun
- Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts
- Add fasteners, adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit
- Stain wood products and set out to dry
- Routine maintenance on equipment

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be able to take direction and read instructions
- Must be proficient with tools, saws, and measurements
- Pays strong attention to details
- Organised and reliable
- Works well under little to no supervision
- Works well with crunch time schedules
- Works well under-pressure
- Able to work overtime (when and if required)
- Team-player

**Salary**: $16.00-$26.00 per hour
