In this role as Workshop Service Coordinator for Mobile Cranes, you'll report to the Workshop Service Manager and provide essential support in administration and customer service. Your key responsibilities include being the primary contact for customer service inquiries related to mobile cranes, coordinating these inquiries, and evaluating customer needs to determine the appropriate action plans. Your role is crucial in working closely with both Shop Management and the Service Administrator to ensure the delivery of excellent service in the mobile crane sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage in regular safety discussions.
- Lead safety inspections in the workshop and enforce safety procedures.
- Support the Workshop Manager in scheduling technicians' daily work.
- Work closely with the parts department for job-specific needs, including ordering and shipping.
- Keep track of job progress and update customers regularly.
- Coordinate logistics with external vendors and subcontractors.
- Help prepare customer quotes, invoices, and manage work orders (including labor, parts, and external services).
- Conduct regular checks of tools and assets.
- Oversee ongoing work orders, including time management and approvals.
- Issue purchase orders for various needs like third-party services and tools.
- Step in for the Workshop Manager or Service Administrators when needed.

- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with service reporting, time entry, and invoicing software.
- A methodical and analytical approach, with a focus on organization and attention to detail.
- Skills in writing clear and effective reports.
- Technical knowledge of heavy equipment, including cranes and construction machinery.
- A strong commitment to health and safety, actively promoting a safe work culture.
- A dynamic and positive team player.
