**Position: Cook**
**Job Type: Part-Time**
**Responsibilities**:
As a Cook at Little D's Family Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide outstanding food and service to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Preparing Delicious Meals**: Execute the preparation and cooking of breakfast and lunch dishes to the highest quality standards.
- **Menu Expertise**: Master our menu items, including classics like pancakes, omelets, sandwiches, soups, and salads, ensuring consistency and taste.
- **Kitchen Operations**: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with our kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy hours.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect food items for freshness and quality, and ensure that presentation is visually appealing.
- **Adherence to Recipes**: Follow our recipes and portion sizes precisely to maintain consistency in taste and portion control.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is required.
- A passion for cooking and a love for creating great food.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
