Cambridge, Canada Shred-Tech Full time

Lead in the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of recommended stocking quantities to support the business’s various product offerings on a global scale.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current process and implementing new processes where applicable.
- Accountable for all after market parts price changes ensuring business KPI’s are met or exceeded on a monthly/yearly basis.
- Partner with cross-functional business teams to drive successful S&OP process to balance supply & demand while minimizing excess/obsolete inventory.
- Continually review, plan, and prepare initiatives that increase fill rates, inventory turns, reducing stock out situations, to meet or exceed business goals.
- Understand and implement best practices for the service business according to the after-sales strategy under the guidance of the business leader both in parts and warehousing spheres.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
***Education**: Relevant Degree / Diploma in Materials Management / Purchasing / Inventory Control. CPIM designation or working towards, an asset.

**Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in materials management, custom equipment, metal fabrication environment.

**Specific Skill, Ability and Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory, materials management and the ability to track and control inventory
- Strong analytical and research skills to develop, evaluate, determine, and recommend purchases and ordering practices
- Proficiency and working knowledge of ERP/MRP and use within an operations environment with a high attention to detail (Epicor).
- Strong problem-resolution ability and critical thinking
- Previous experience in a high-volume custom manufacturing facility
- Lean qualified or experienced an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
