Standard Machine & Manufacturing’s is a Stoney Creek-based business, established in 1991. We custom machine, service, and repair components and parts for a wide range of industries, using CNC and conventional equipment.

**Machinist**

As a Machinist, your main goals are to:

- efficiently set up and run a variety CNC and conventional equipment
- read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- repair machine tools and parts
- fit and assemble components and machine parts

You have experience running and setting up a variety of machines in a production environment, so you’ll be well-prepared to handle any of our machines. You’re also eager to learn - if there are any machines you haven’t worked with, we’ll get you up to speed.

- **You’re proactive** - you like to stay busy and productive.
- **You’re safety-conscious** - safety is important to you, and to us.

**Qualifications**
- Experience working as a machinist in a machine shop and/or manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up and operating CNC and conventional machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Completion of a relevant machinist certificate or diploma is an asset
