ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently program and operate multiple EDM, Sink and Wire Machines to produce high quality components within tight tolerances

Complete basic machine care and maintenance (filters, carbides, guides, wire disposal etc.)

Utilize and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards

Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instrument

Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies

Keep machines, surrounding areas clean and maintain a safe work environment

Other duties may be assigned


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION

Minimum 1 years demonstrated ability to program, set-up and run

Ability to interpret drawings and CMM results

Effectively communicate with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing

Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willingness to cross train on other types of machinery is an asset

Machinist Trade Certificate is an asset


ADDITONAL REQUIREMENT

Basic security clearance

Own Steel-toe safety shoes
