**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Plans, implements and evaluates age-appropriate therapeutic, social, physical, emotional and intellectual recreation and leisure opportunities
- Incorporate the needs and preferences of aging individuals with Acquired Brain Injury, Developmental Delay and Dementia through small group and large group intervention

**FORMAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or another related field from a community college or university is required
- Knowledge in Gerontology, ABI, DD and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias is an asset
- Experience in long-term care facility considered an asset
