**About the job**

Riverway Dental is looking for a part-time commercial cleaner to care for our small dental clinic. This job position is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to earn some supplementary income at a rate of $30.00/hr. We are looking for a hardworking person who possesses a strong work ethic, and who takes pride in performing their job well. Flexible job schedule includes 3-4 hours of work in the evenings, 4 days per week; start time can begin anytime from 4:30 pm onwards. If you enjoy cleaning, and are comfortable and capable of working alone, you might enjoy some quiet time to listen to music or a podcast while you work.

**Responsibilities**
- Vacuuming and mopping of floors
- Cleaning staffroom kitchen, washrooms, private offices, and reception area
- Sterilization of dental instruments and high touch areas
- Collection and disposal of garbage and recycling
- Putting away and organizing laundry for weekly pick-up
- Dusting or damp wiping surfaces; washing windows and mirrors
- Restocking of medical, office, and cleaning supplies
- Maintaining the working condition of cleaning equipment
- Keeping an inventory of supplies and assisting with reordering when appropriate

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Completion of high school
- Clean criminal records check
- Class 5 driver’s license and own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Ability to thoroughly clean with attention to detail
- Must follow established cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing practices
- Must be physically capable of carrying out all duties of the job position
- Must be comfortable working independently during evening hours
- Must follow and adhere to health and safety regulations
