ROLE

Gladstone Brewing Company is currently hiring a cleaner for 35 hours a week. The job will include

cleaning all washrooms, kitchen areas, lounge areas, staff rooms, offices, storage areas, and residential

properties that Gladstone currently subleases.

Cleaning duties will include washing and sanitizing washroom facilities 5 days a week, mopping all floors,

cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, steam cleaning and shampooing carpeted areas, deep cleaning all

kitchen areas, keeping storage areas clean, emptying and cleaning all garbage and recycling bins in the

building, taking care of the office cat, keeping windows clean, helping organize areas and putting things

in their proper spots as needed, and any other cleaning duties required.

Gladstone also subleases residential property for staff and visitors. The cleaner will be responsible for

regular cleaning of these properties.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Class 5 drivers licence.
- Obsessive attention to detail.

Pay: - $60,000 to $70,000
- Health and Dental Plan Spending account.

Job Description (Cleaner)

The Cleaner’s duties will include all of the following (plus any other tasks they may be asked to perform

by ownership):
Gladstone Lounge
- Daily deep-clean of customer washrooms. This will include washing and sanitizing all toilets,

urinals, and sinks, washing all walls, scrubbing all corners, and mopping the floors 5 days a week.
- Sweeping and hot mopping the lounge floor, bar floor, and kitchen floor, and all corners 5 days a

week.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all bar surfaces, sinks, Kitchen dishwashing facilities, and all kitchen

surfaces 5 days a week.
- Spot cleaning all glass and windows daily.
- Dusting all surfaces daily, removing dust, cobwebs, etc.
- Washing all chairs as needed.
- Watering and trimming all indoor and outdoor plants as needed.
- It is anticipated with will take 4 hours of work per day.

Staffroom, Offices, Conference Room, and Storage Areas
- Daily deep-clean of staff washrooms. This will include washing and sanitizing all toilets and

sinks, washing all walls, scrubbing all corners, and mopping the floors 5 days a week.
- Sweeping and hot mopping the staffroom floors, conference room floors, hallways, and all

corners 5 days a week.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the staffroom kitchen surfaces, staff tables, and conference tables and

chairs.
- Daily vacuum of all carpeted areas in offices and storage areas.
- Monthly steam-clean and/or shampooing of carpeted areas in offices and storage areas.
- Daily emptying of all garbage and recycling bins.
- Taking care of the office cat (Elvira). This includes scooping kitty litter daily, changing litter every

2-4 weeks, daily cleaning of water and food dishes, and replenishing food and water daily.
- It is anticipated with will take 2+ hours of work per day.

Residential Properties
- Gladstone currently rents, subleases, and offers some residential property to some employees

and visitors.
- These are traditional residential properties with kitchens, living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms

and washrooms.
- These will need to be cleaned regularly.
- Cleaning duties will include:

- Washing, changing, and folding all bedding, linens, towels, etc.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen surfaces and doing any dishes as required.
- Dusting as needed and spot cleaning all glass and windows as needed.
- Washing the inside and outside of all appliances as needed.
- Taking out garbage and recycling.

Sales Manager

The main role of the Sales Manager will be to manage all wholesale accounts for the company. They will be the main liaison with all key accounts, and help grow these accounts in both volume and number. The focus of Gladstone Brewing Company is quality over quantity.
