Reporting directly to the **Group Employee Services Manager**, the Programs and Events Coordinator plays a key role in the development and implementation of programs and events that drive the employee experience in the areas of Learning & Development, Culture and Engagement, Career Mobility, Employee Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Communication and Employee Recognition.

**Here’s what you’ll deliver**:

- Performs training administration duties to support the execution of learning and development programs including scheduling, preparation of resources and materials, room setup, tracking attendance, catering/refreshments and sending communications to participants
- Coordinate and/or support programs and events including but not limited to:

- Employee holiday events and activities
- Powered by Purpose events
- Lunch & learn events
- PAG kids activities
- PAG students activities
- Charitable and community events
- Diversity and inclusion program events
- Assist the Learning Specialist with coordinating the weekly new employee orientation program and is the trained backup facilitator in the absence of the Learning Specialist
- Assist with the development and implementation of learning metrics
- Track employee training records and ensures compliance with required training
- Assist with the implementation of training trackers and learning management systems
- Coordinate activities with the employee engagement champion committee
- Support employee learning by coordinating employee communications through the Performance Portal intranet and Performance Pulse
- Create and maintain an ES calendar to manage employee communications, D&I awareness and Linkedin culture posts
- Other assigned duties as requested by management and senior leadership

**What do you need to succeed?**
- University Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with strong ability to write effectively for both internal and external audiences
- Minimum 1 year experience with coordinating events and programs
- Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations is highly desirable
- Experience supporting retail work environments is highly desirable
- Ability to think creatively and implement innovative strategies.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment while effectively managing competing and changing priorities
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Proficiency in cloud based communications platforms, specifically G Suite.
- Excellent at creating high quality presentations using a variety of technologies (e.g. Google Slides, LCD projectors, etc.)
- Ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned projects and duties
- Demonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of duties
- May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

**This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience**

**Job Type**:Full Time - Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
