**POSITION TITLE: Alumni and Fund Development Coordinator**

**CLASSIFICATION/ **Classification “VII” per Schedule A of the collective agreement

**RATE OF PAY**:
**DEPARTMENT: Faculty of Law**
- The University of Windsor is situated on the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations: the Ojibwa, the Odawa, and the Potawatomie._

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Alumni and Fund Development Coordinator will enhance revenue and financial support of the Faculty of Law by planning, implementing and coordinating activities and communication with alumni in order to build and support the initiatives of the Faculty of Law.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Law Degree (LL.B. or JD),
- Professional standing within the legal community
- Knowledge of Canadian tax and property laws as they relate to gifts, planned giving and endowments
- Understanding of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
- Knowledge of the Canadian legal and philanthropic markets
- Experience in project coordination, strategic donor communications, budget planning for events (revenue analysis, projections), event planning and marketing
- Experience in the handling of confidential matters
- Ability to speak to large or small audiences exercising tact and diplomacy at all times
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office, Lotus Notes, Raiser’s Edge (or equivalent), databases, and social media.
