Kitchen Team Member/ Part Time

Hi We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to come join our staff at TonTon

Your main responsibilities will include prepping & cutting ingredients (vegetables, meat, and any other common ingredients) and assisting head chef during service.

We are looking for someone with **at least a good bit of experience working in the kitchen**. The reason being, our restaurant is **very fast-paced** during dinner rushes and Friday-weekends, so if you're completely new to kitchen-based jobs it will be pretty difficult to learn the position & get used to the job.

We're also looking for someone who can speak and understand basic level of English. You do not have to be fluent Just knowing how to communicate and having teamwork skills will go a long way :)

If you are someone with past experience working in kitchens and we see you as a good fit for our kitchen team & as a long-term staff, we'd love to negotiate raises in wages somewhere down the line

Vacation payments will be included with this position :)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
