Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a **Pouring Supervisor** at our **Toronto** manufacturing plant. This position is responsible to supervise the operations for the production of a variety of quality polyurethane foams. Responsible for leading people, maintaining work systems, procedures, safety compliance, and policies that enable and encourage optimum performance of people and resources in the pouring department in an efficient, safe, and quality focused manner.

As the **Pouring Supervisor, **you are responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of foam orders while adhering to Company’s guiding principles and value of order.

Your additional responsibilities as **Pouring Supervisor** will include:

- Responsible for the completion of all production activities while maintaining value of order.
- Review production schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of processes and procedures to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and output utilizing KPI, 5 WHYs, Kaizen principles
- Optimize product recipes.
- Coordinate with CP/CN for delivery of chemical through railcars
- Maintain production reports.
- Review and approve personnel time records on a daily basis.
- Maintain value of order using 5S
- Maintain applied knowledge of company's H&S management system.
- Maintain applied knowledge of company's quality management system.
- Maintain applied knowledge of relevant SAP transactions.
- Coordinate maintenance to process equipment.
- Responsible for safe operation of department and complies with all safety and environmental legal requirements.
- Lead all chemical release remediation activities.
- Coordinate the spacing required for production.
- Assists and interacts with Corporate Technical Support Group.
