**Lac Ste. Anne County is recruiting for the position of Seasonal Planning/Infrastructure Support. The position is for a term of approximately 4 months and located in Lac Ste. Anne County located 1.5 hours NW of Edmonton on Hwy. 43**

**The County seeks a Seasonal Planning/Infrastructure Support Student. This is a seasonal position for approximately 16 weeks from approximately May 6 to August 30.**

**Key Requirements**

The responsibilities to be undertaken by this individual is as follows:

- Supporting a broad range of planning activities including general support to the Zoning Bylaw team.
- Work on the Zoning Bylaw Amendments, including public and internal engagement activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, drafting and testing of regulations, and other communications and engagement materials in support of Zoning Bylaw Renewal and other zoning changes.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of graphics, diagrams, tables, and other forms of visual communication for the new zoning bylaw and associated engagement materials.
- Assist in the mapping of proposed new zones and other communications and engagement materials in support of rezoning.
- Assist with the facilitation and recording of results in meetings and workshops.
- Conduct research, jurisdiction scans, and collect and analyze date to inform the Zoning Bylaw Renewal initiative, Council reports, Council inquiries, and other Zoning Bylaw Amendments as needed.
- Assist in reviewing Development Permits and Subdivision Applications.
- Assisting the Infrastructure Department with Data Entry, Surveying and As Built Drawings,
- Perform other duties as required.
- Training is provided for all of the above tasks, as required._

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and provide a driver’s abstract upon request.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
- Able to complete routine maintenance and servicing on equipment and vehicles;
- Exhibits initiative and good judgement to produce quality results and complete duties with mínimal supervision.
- Experience working with legislation, policy, bylaws or other Municipal documents would be considered an asset.
- Excellent research skills.

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
