**THE ROLE**
The Arena Operator and Outdoor Facility Maintainer monitors the day-to-day operations of the facilities and sports fields’ maintenance, as required. They maintain grounds and playing area of facilities. They operate equipment, as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.

Valid Driver’s Licence (BC).

Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician (BC).

**Experience**

In operating and maintaining ice rink and outdoor sports facilities equipment.

In resource administration.

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential, Bilingual an asset.
