**Position Description**:
This student opportunity supports the Project Management Office within the Project Management Office - Information Management and Technology Department (IMT) at SickKids. The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for planning and implementing various technology initiatives at SickKids, working mainly with our IMT colleagues, clinical and business stakeholders, and vendors. Support the planning and implementation process of various projects.

**Position Summary & Learning Outcomes**
- Complete environmental scan and research to assist in providing recommendations
- Be responsible to assist and help complete project documentation
- Be responsible for communication, meeting management and minor deliverables
- Responsible to take notes and follow-ups and ensure timely completion to those assigned Responsible for sending agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow-ups
- Responsible for supporting the development of project management artefacts/materials
- Responsible for supporting the testing of new technology, including tracking and consolidating feedback collected
- Responsible for drafting current and future state workflows, highlighting key stakeholder changes
- Responsible for conducting environmental scans/research to support the advancement of the PMO's Strategic Priorities
- Other project duties as required

**Position Requirements**:

- Open to 4th year undergraduate students or all graduate students
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and take initiative
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, organized and flexible
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Positive outlook and great team player
- Ability to show good judgment in decision making
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare project management

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in a 4th year undergraduate degree or a graduate program
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and proactive time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistently strong interpersonal and intrapersonal abilities
- Capable analytic abilities
- MS Office Suite Experience
- IT knowledge or the desire to learn about it is considered an asset

**Assets**:

- Project Management experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience with SmartSheet, SharePoint, MS Office, Outlook, MS Teams
- PMP, CAPM, CPHIMS Certifications considered an asset
