We are a Toronto-based start-up that has developed a patent-pending ordering and delivery platform, paired with a fleet of mobile cafés. The result is a business capable of delivering high quality, fresh coffee shop products—made just in time—for customers at home, at work, or on their way. The company will truly “deliver the café experience” to its customers and, in the process, free them from the long line-ups of traditional coffee shops and the wait times, perishability and cost issues associated with third party delivery companies.

Our client is searching for engaging, courteous Baristas who are passionate about food and beverage preparation, customer satisfaction and convenience. Baristas will monitor online order queues, prepare customer food and drink orders just in time, and deliver customer orders in a friendly and courteous manner. As required, Baristas will also answer questions, deal with customer comments and suggestions, and support their fellow team members. When not preparing customer orders, Baristas will maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace, including coffee and food equipment cleaning and designated pickup and delivery areas. To succeed, you should be committed to providing customers with excellent service. You should also be polite, knowledgeable, positive, outgoing and friendly.

**Mobile Café Barista Responsibilities**:

- Promoting Fleets Coffee’s culture, values, and mission.
- Providing excellent service to all customers.
- Expertly preparing all beverages by following recipes and preparation techniques and delivering them to customers.
- Skillfully finishing and packaging all foods, such as sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, and delivering them to customers in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing all equipment.
- Maintaining inventories by replenishing coffee supplies; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplementary supplies, and restocking all food items.
- Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs as required.
- Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
- Being a positive contributing member as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Being known as someone who always arrives at their shift on time and maintains a consistent work attendance.
- Being available to work flexible hours that can include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Being versatile and able to perform many different tasks during each shift.

**Mobile Café Barista Skills & Requirements**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Prior café, coffee shop or restaurant experience a plus, customer service preferred.
- Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work around peak hours, including early mornings, weekends, and nights.
- Polite with an engaging personality, outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Desire to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
