**Job Title: Service Technician**

An exciting opportunity awaits you as a Service Technician at Propack Processing and Packaging Systems Inc You will work with a team of dedicated professionals at the main plant in Beamsville, Ontario as well as provide top-notch on-site service and support to our valued customers in the field.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with setup, and preventative maintenance of automated equipment
- Test and integrate hardware and software components such as robots, analog devices, motion controllers, sensors, and various automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and determine the root causes of current issues, identify potential future issues and continuous improvement opportunities, and implement solutions accordingly
- Evaluate the condition of equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement.
- Maintain equipment documentation updates.

**Requirements**:

- Technical training and/or diploma in a related field (mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or similar).
- Ability to read and carefully follow mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and instructions.
- Ability to perform fine mechanical assembly.
- PLC Programming experience.
- Experience in robotic programming an asset
- Technical document literacy (schematics, prints, pneumatic diagrams)
- Ability to meet production targets as required.
- Must be self-motivating and self-directed.
- Fieldwork and equipment installation experience an asset.
- Formal training as a Millwright as asset
- Clean driving record
- Travel to customer site is required

**Salary**: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
