Coco Bakery is part of Bond Bakery Brands, a stakeholder-focused investment platform started by three friends, which include Pace Processing and Product Development, Holy Napoli, and Portofino Bakery. Together, we are building better bakeries.

**The Role**:
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented **Financial** **Controller** to lead our finance team. This role reports directly to the President, has 2 direct reports, and will work closely with senior management in the preparation and control of all departmental budgets across the organization. The major focus of this role will be, but is not limited to:

- Being an SAP Business One superuser.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for Canadian & US bank accounts; purchase US funds for payables forecasted due.
- Analysis, measurement, interpretation and reporting of cost inventory data.
- Recommend accounting policies and procedures to maintain accounting controls and financial security by following internal controls.
- Project controlling, monitoring the financial and administrative status of existing and new projects.
- Responsible for all major G/L account analysis and reconciliations.
- Coordinate internal audits to reconcile inventory and finished goods; oversee all inventory variances in the system and address discrepancies as required.
- Lead and develop a team of 2 employees.
- Monthly financial reporting (Income statement and balance sheet).
- Submit HST/GST, WSIB and EHT payments and reports as required.
- Prepare and manage product P&Ls to ensure profitable GM%.
- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, provide detailed reporting to shareholders.
- Actively participate in developing Company’s strategic goals.
- All other duties as assigned and required by the Company.

**Requirements**:

- CA, CPA, or CGA designation required.
- Previous experience in CPG is a must.
- Minimum 5 years financial accounting experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Must have experience with Sage50 and SAP Business One or similar software.
- Exceptional financial presentation ability with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and excellent knowledge of excel.
- Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, be nimble and agile.
- Solutions oriented with a result driven mindset.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and other systems.
