Under the direction of the supervisor or designate, the Clerk B - Rentals & Fuel Supply is responsible for performing a variety of administrative/clerical functions in support of the Winnipeg Fleet Management Agency.

**As the** **_Clerk B - Rentals and Fuel Supply,_** **you will**:

- Process account payables and requests for payment, for example: write and input into PeopleSoft all Purchase Orders, purchase card statements, match invoices and forward for payment.
- Complete pre and post trip inspection of rental vehicles to assess for damage, ensure safe operation, and confirmation of fuel levels.
- Entering fuel prices and various data into Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) software.
- Issue fuel fobs to City Fleet and rental vehicles.
- Respond to inquiries regarding rentals and fuel, and provide appropriate follow up as required.
- Input Fleet equipment data into FMS and PeopleSoft.
- Maintain a variety of office records files necessary for the preparation of administrative and statistical reports.
- Provide training as it relates to the position.
- Perform other duties within the Agency in line with the classification, and coverage to other WFMA clerical roles as required.

**Your education and qualifications include**:

- High school graduate or GED.
- Experience providing effective customer service to a variety of individuals.
- Experience working with rental vehicles is an asset.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft Finance module is an asset.
- Ability to assess vehicles within the Class 5 classification for pre/post trip inspections
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requests.
- Strong computer software skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to learn new software programs related to WFMA.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work under mínimal supervision, and the ability to exercise sound judgement
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and willingness to work with staff, supervisors, and other department personnel and the general public.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to complete accurate calculations.

**Conditions of employment**:

- The successful applicant must maintain legal eligibility to work in Canada. If the successful applicant possesses a work permit, it is their responsibility to ensure the permit remains valid.
- Must provide and maintain a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, and operate all vehicles within the Class 5 driver’s licence classification.
- Must be able to perform the duties of this position in all weather conditions.
