ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an IT Operations Resource for a 6 month contract. This role will work onsite three days a week in Fort Saskatchewan.

**ROLE: IT OPERATIONS RESOURCE**

**Mandatory Skills**:

- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of related experience in server infrastructure support and end user service delivery
- Good knowledge of current network protocols, and standards
- Hands on experience of VMWare and Nutanix
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, file services, DHCP, Office 365 and Azure
- Hands on experience of Veeam backup & replication
- Sound knowledge of current cloud technologies
- Change management experience
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- Strong technical knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Nutanix AHV
- Strong technical knowledge of Nutanix Hyper-converged solution
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, file services, DHCP, Office 365 & Azure
- Sound knowledge of Veeam backup & replication
- Sound knowledge of current cloud technologies
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure capacity management
- The individual is required to have very strong Active directory skills - (AD attributes, AD schema, ADSI Edit, AD trusts)
- Skill set to run and maintain scripting such as PowerShell
- Experience of ticketing solutions such as ServiceNow
- Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills
- Excellent configuration and processes documentation skills
- Written and oral communication skills to interact with a range of stakeholders
- Multicultural sensitivity
- Great time management skills
- Strong customer focus skills
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, Engineering), from recognized universities is a desirable criteria in our selection process.
