Finance Accounting Administration Assistant

AIM Roads Inc., a division of Acciona Infrastructure Canada, provides road and bridge highway maintenance services throughout the Okanagan. This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Administration or similar area of study to further their career and gain exposure to a major company with exciting and noteworthy projects across Canada. The primary work location will be Armstrong with travel required between Penticton and Vernon and project sites as required. This is a temporary role with a 6-month duration.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide general administrative support across a broad range of technical, commercial, financial, and administrative processes.
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable Team, collect supporting documents, scan, and obtain approvals.
- Assist with purchasing processes and inventory management.
- Assist with emergency works and additional contract works from contract execution to project administration, reporting and billing.
- Account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and corresponding adjusting entries
- Assist with processing employee credit cards and expense claims.
- Maintain Office Procedures documents (passwords, account numbers, vendors contact
- information).
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Proficient knowledge in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Outlook.
- Excellent skills when using faxes, scanners, printers, shredders, switchboard.
- Exceptional organizational and keyboard skills.
- Able to multi-task.
- Punctual.
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Business Administration, Accounting Diploma or comparable combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of administration and finance tasks.
- 3 years experience in an office environment.
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s license, a clean driving record and be comfortable driving in winter conditions.

**Salary**: $53,473.00-$63,499.00 per year
