- Shopping at Health Food Stores for health food and supplements to use in Recipes
- Creating Solid relationships with Amazing Health Food Store owners over the phone and in person
- Creating innovative kitchen and food storage hacks and health promoting meals with a strong knowledge of different diets such as vegan, pescatarian, paleo, keto etc
- Using camera equipment and iPhone for videos and photos
- Social media with a knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, You Tube, Linked in and Facebook
- Selling products that you believe in because of your background as a nutritionist, or natural health and wellness influencer.
- Passion for writting great copy

This is a flexible & exciting job opportunity for someone who has their driver's license with a clean driving record and ideally owns a car who will be reimbursed for their kilometers with regards to work activities.

**What a Day would look like**

With your passion for experimentation in the kitchen with healthy organic food, you will create innovative food as medicine meals, as well as kitchen and life hacks, as guided by the marketing and seasonal calendar.

You will photograph and film as you go to post on social media accounts, or to submit to video editing team.

You will be guided by the CEO, a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, at her Home for a portion of your daily work.

You will shop at health food stores, take pictures and videos. You will create relationships over the phone or in person where the goal is to to sell in our products or increase sales to the health food stores our products are already carried in.

There is light homemaking (cleaning up the kitchen, pantry and laundry, etc.) is a regular part of this role.

Digital marketing experience is an asset, recording recipes, taking pictures and videos, co-authoring a cookbook as well as sharing them on the CEO’s social account will be an exciting aspect of the position. Must have a strong aptitude and eagerness to serve all to better their health.

**THE ROLE**
- Planning vegan/vegetarian and some meals with meat with light guidance from CEO weekly meal plans
- Experimentation with food for recipes for social media to be made into a cookbook co-authored with CEO, or recipes added to programs or free downloads
- Knowledge of juicing, dehydrating foods and spices
- Grocery shopping at Farmer's Markets, health food stores and anywhere organic food is sold
- Preparing and cooking meals in healthy ways following the guidelines of the Gerson Therapeutic Lifestyle plan (no salt, lots of spices for flavors, special oils) and others
- Clean up of kitchen, pantry, cabinets, refrigerator, and laundry
- Food rotation in pantry
- Using knowledge of natural foods and health and healing and basic knowledge of posting to social media sites in the CEO's voice with the CEO's help (social media know-how is an asset but not necessary as we have a digital media team)
- Taking photos and videos of meals for social posts and printed material to be submitted to the digital marketing team
- Co-author of recipe books, creation of books, and PDFs
- Selling products into health food stores
- Co Coordinating events with food for company with health in mind

**REQUIREMENTS**

- **Must be highly proficient in the English language**:

- Must know how to cook flavourful vegan/vegetarian meals from all over the world and understand or be willing to learn food combining principles. Must be open to spirituality
- Strong sales service skills with a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude towards all and a concern for the environment, including recycling and composting
- Ideally a nutritionist or have alternative formal training or a passion or knowledge of natural health/nutrition (Gerson Therapeutic Diet is a major asset but not necessary)
- Yoga instructor, or fitness trainer an asset
- Basic photography and video with iPhone
- professional photography an asset
- Ability to work on an iPad, iPhone, or Mac
- Ability to adapt and solve problems independently with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Must be flexible, some weeks require more hours, some less, with a few hours on the weekends
