**Position Summary**

The Facility Manager, working under the Director of Facilities and Administration, provides leadership to the Facility Team and oversees building maintenance at Soul Sanctuary (“Soul”). The Facility Manager position is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership to the Facility Team
- Train all new team members and provide ongoing training to the Facility Team
- Ensure the Facility Team is consistently delivering the expected standard of building cleanliness, event execution, hospitality and safety
- Build a culture of ownership and initiative among team members
- Ensure that the interior and exterior of the facility is consistently presented to a professional standard
- Provide exceptional service to facility guests
- Through self-initiative and supervisor direction, complete facility maintenance as required
- Manage annual facility inspections (fire systems, roof, HVAC, etc.)
- Implement and Oversee the preventative maintenance schedule for the facility
- Coordinate repairs of equipment and fixtures as required
- Coordinate facility improvement plan with the Director of Facilities and Administration
- Oversee the exterior maintenance program (lawn care, parking lot, snow removal, sanding, etc.)
- Submit facility supply requests to the Director of Facilities and Administration, ensuring needed supplies are stocked and available
- Responsibilities may include picking up needed supplies and materials or facility related errands
- The Facility Manager will consistently work on Saturdays alongside their team, as well as a mixture of day and evening shifts as scheduled by the Director of Facilities and Administration.
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Prior custodial and maintenance experience required
- Prior managerial experience required
- A team player who works effectively and efficiently
- The ability to work alongside and lead their team
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to receive direction and implement plans of action
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends, as well as late nights during large event bookings

**Compensation**
- Potential to transition to a salaried position upon completion of three month probationary period
- Employer paid health and dental benefits package upon completion of three month probationary period

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
- Custodial: 2 years (preferred)
- Supervising/Leadership: 2 years (preferred)
