**Position Summary**:
PSPNET is a clinical unit within the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) based at the University of Regina and funded by the Government of Canada with additional funding from the provinces of NB, NS, and PEI and the Medavie Foundation. PSPNET delivers services online and makes use of Internet-delivered cognitive behaviour therapy (ICBT) programs initially developed at Macquarie University in Australia and tailored to public safety personnel (PSP). The PSPNET team includes diverse clinical staff with extensive experience specifically working with PSP. The PSPNET team is led by Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos, Professor of Psychology and Principal Investigator/Director for PSPNET. PSPNET also trains students and clinicians in online therapy and conducts research on online therapy to continually optimize the service

Reporting to the Principal Investigator/Director of PSPNET, the primary purpose of this position is to maintain effective and efficient leadership through the coordination and development of PSPNET courses, policies, and procedures for the clinical team for PSPNET. Key areas of responsibility are the management of PSPNET human resources, processes and activities, including training, supervision, and management of clinical staff, research associates, and postdocs. As well as updating policies/procedures and materials in response to research findings, and ensuring staff compliance, additional responsibilities include outreach and dissemination with internal and external groups, such as representing PSPNET at workshops, conferences, stakeholder meetings, seminars, etc.

The position would manage bilingual (English or French) clinical research associates, research assistants, and postdocs and will also provide guidance and support for faculty/graduate students from across the University. This would include any new staff that are hired in these roles.

- Masters in Social Work or Masters or PhD in Psychology;
- Registration or ability to be registered to practice with professional regulatory body is required;
- 5 years of relevant experience in clinical care. Relevant experience with leadership, management, and administration/supervision of staff, particularly in a unionized and/or non-profit environment.
- Research administration and project management experience are considered assets. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered;
- Requires clinical knowledge, research knowledge, technology knowledge, and management knowledge - new field of work in online therapy;
- Requires project management skills to manage staff caseloads and workload allocation;
- Skills in developing, implementing and analyzing policy;
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset;
- Requires extensive knowledge of University policies and procedures and ability to work with Facilities Management, Human Resources, Research Office, CIPSRT’s leadership and project teams and others to ensure that University policies are applied and meet PSPNET’s goals and objectives;
- Knowledge of a wide range of psychological disorders and treatment practices.
- Knowledge of human nature and interpersonal relations; current practice and recent developments; DSM 5 and diagnostic criteria; structured clinical assessments; program development and evaluation;
- Knowledge, skills and experience in clinical supervision; CBT; distance treatment; learning computer software.
- Requires knowledge and experience in research methods and qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
- Requires knowledge and experience in social media and advertising;
- Requires knowledge and experience with managing employees;
- Knowledge of general HR recruitment and management principles and university HR policy and guidelines with APT and CUPE contractual agreements;
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a team to support the objectives of the Centre;
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on the ability to establish collaborative relationships;
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fluid work environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of applicable University policies (HR, Financial, etc.) research and government regulations;
- Knowledge of campus-wide technology and software including Banner, E-Recruitment, Caspur, FAST, Cascade Server; and,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues to diverse audiences from students to administrators.

Physical Demands Pay Grade APT 6 Salary Range $70,927 - $95,703 Annually Status Term Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 4:30 pm.
