**The Opportunity**:
The Diangostic Medical Sonographer performs high quality ultrasound studies for obstetrical patients under the direction of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. The Sonographer participates in the training of other Registered Technologists, Students, and Residents as required. The incumbent provides diagnostic quality images using accepted protocol; discusses exams with Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, accurately utilizes PACS, video and recorded information; maintains accurate patient files; records appropriate and timely information in the computer; maintains a professional attitude; and practices good patient care at all times.

**Hours of Work**:
7.5 hrs, 830 -1630/ 0900-1700, Monday-Friday

**Your Qualifications**:

- Graduate of a recognized school of imaging technology required.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers(ARDMS) and/or Sonography Canada, including Ob/Gyn and Abdomen as a minimum required.
- Member of the Sonography Canada required.
- Must have, and continue to maintain, registry status by obtaining the required continued medical education credits (CME) every three years.
- Experience in obstetrics preferred.
- Preceptor experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Competencies in other languages an asset.
