The RV PDI Demonstration Specialist opening is located at 2522 Cedar Creek Road, Ayr, Ontario with Leisure Days RV Centre Kitchener a subsidiary company of Leisure Days RV Group located.

**Position Overview**

This position requires someone who provides the highest level of workmanship for each one of the customers and is perfect suitable for a retired camper.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a thorough demonstration of trailer to customers; going into to detail and physically displaying how each aspect of the unit functions, its purpose, and use and care instructions.
- Staging is sometime part of the demonstration; demo professionals are responsible for setting up trailer for demonstration.
- Answer customer's questions about product; if unable to follow up until you can get satisfactory information for the customer.
- Suggest additional merchandise to purchase from the Parts store.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
- Install of accessories on RVs
- Perform pre-delivery inspections.
- Read and write repair orders, troubleshooting.
- Repair and maintenance of propane and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, and air conditioners
- Repair to fiberglass, body and structural components
- Install, repair, replace, and maintenance of roofs, sliding windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane systems, batteries, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Professional and articulate.
- Driven, reliable and works well in a shop environment.
- Well spoken, energetic.
- Ability to develop a quick rapport with a wide variety of people+
- Team player
- Forklift experience is an asset or willing to learn forklift operation (training will be provided)
- Previous RV Technician experience is a definite asset.
- R.V. Apprenticeship is an asset but not required.
- Gas Certification is an asset but not required.
- Automotive experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
