Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, assisting with small repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of residential properties. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality services and effectively addressing any issues that arise. This position requires hands-on experience in handyman work, strong attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine inspections of residential properties, identifying maintenance needs and repairs.
- Perform general handyman tasks, such as painting & basic carpentry
- Assist with small repairs and maintenance requests from residents.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and functionality of various systems and appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including time, materials used, and work performed.
- Communicate effectively with residents and maintenance coordination staff, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper storage and care of tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in handyman work, including basic carpentry, basic plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between residential properties.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
