Parkade Repair Technician

The Parkade Repair Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of West Edmonton Mall’s parking lots.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Preparing concrete for repair; operating grinders, jackhammers, and other tools to chip and breakup concrete.
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring and barricades as required.
- Maintaining a clean and productive jobsite.
- Estimating concrete quantities and appropriate mixes of sand and cement, mixes, pours, spreads, and compacts concrete using hand and power tools.
- Fine finishing concrete by floating, troweling, edging, and brushing using hand and power tools in accordance with specifications.
- Operating skid steer and aerial lifts as needed.
- Minor roof leak repairs and cleanup.
- Skylight waterproofing.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working outdoors or with a range of equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work cohesively, as a team, with other finishers, placers, and laborers.
- Ability to work at heights and in harsh climate conditions.
- Experience with all aspects of patching, which include but is not exclusive to; jackhammering, grinding, mixing, patching (finish quality), clean-up.
**Terms of Employment**:
- This is a full-time position that requires availability Monday through Friday.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
