Building Maintenance Technician

The primary responsibility of the Building Maintenance Technician includes, but is not limited to, the following for Redstone site at CWB Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
- Maintaining interior and exterior of all Redstone site at CWB Place in Edmonton, Alberta;
- Routinely inspect interior and exterior spaces and equipment;
- Monitor and maintain building systems (for example: heating, electrical, mechanical and security systems);
- Schedule annual maintenances and ensure safety standards are in compliance;
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of the grounds and parkade for property damage and safety concerns;
- Assist with preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs;
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping such as area checks, sweeping, litter pick up, plumbing, shoveling and pressure washing;
- Assist with environmental assessments and reporting;
- Participate in corporate occupational health and safety program;
- Management of waste, recycling and hazardous materials issues;
- Respond to tenant service requests;
- Work with contractors;
- Record all daily activities in the Daily Log Book ;
- Ensure exits and entrances to the parkade are free from snow and ice in the winter;
- Assist building Operators and Operations Supervisor as required;
- Other assigned duties

**Qualifications**:

- Alberta 5th class Power Engineering certificate would be an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Able to use on-line maintenance (ie; Angus, Metasys) would be an asset;
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally;

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
