Logistics Coordinator

**A typical day as a Logistics Coordinator includes**:
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and distribution points
- Manipulating and controlling systemic inventory movements and invoicing within our system
- Supporting needs of sales teams across North American and International markets
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Production, and Procurement to forecast demand, plan shipments, and allocate resources effectively
- Providing best in class customer service to North American and International distribution partners, internal and external customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure service level agreements are met
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to the transportation and distribution of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, both domestically and internationally.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on key logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and transportation costs
- Analyze transportation costs, performance metrics, and other relevant data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Participating in regular production and forecasting meetings to stay abreast of release dates, product availability and package dates
- Providing ancillary support to Marketing, Accounting and RMA departments
- Monitoring and reporting on depletion of inventory with key distributors
**How your time will be organized**:
- **Assist Sales teams 50%**: Support the North American and International sales team by processing POs and invoices, scheduling carriers for inventory movements/sales, building out and maintaining a carrier roster, ensuring orders arrive Full Order On Time (FOOT), and appropriate documentation is provided to customers and 3PLs for traceability
- **Weekly/monthly meetings (Forecasting) _10%_**: Prepare and participate in forecasting meetings that pertain to Procurement and Domestic Sales, as they relate to Logistics
- **Inventory management and Invoicing _15%_**: Maintain inventory locations to ensure it matches internal WMS. Approve invoices on a weekly basis.
- **Customs and Brokerage management _5%_**: Coordinate with In-bound and Out-bound customs brokers on all cross-border shipments.
- **Special Projects 20_%_**: As required. Examples: Cost-benefit analysis reports, SOP production, 3PL relationship management, etc.
- 2-3 year’s experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, or supply chain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Advanced interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Strong understanding of customer service fundamentals
- Commitment to building effective internal relationships with all stakeholders (i.e. Order Fulfilment, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Senior Management)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred
- Familiarity with accounting programs/invoicing is an asset
- Experience within the brewing industry is an asset
