**Some of what you will do**:
The Program Manager for Mobile Services is a key leader of the Services team working directly with the Operations, Merchandising, and Field leadership teams in the development and execution of new solutions.

This role represents the field perspective in many cross functional meetings and projects, providing field insights, creative ideas and solutions. They will collaborate closely with teams across Field Leadership, Retail Operations, Learning and Development, Marketing, Finance, and Services to identify opportunities to drive business results, support stores and develop and implement executable selling programs chainwide. Collaboration with additional internal stakeholders such as Merchant Services, Store construction, Business Insights, Internal Communications, Staples Professional, Staples Preferred and Services as required. This role will also advance Staples’ interests with external partners including Bell Canada, OEMs, and vendors.

This role is both highly tactical in leading the team to execute sales initiatives as well as strategic to have future-looking, creative ideas to continue to evolve the business.

This position will be responsible for developing, managing, directing, and implementing Wireless sales and operational strategies to ensure the team meets and exceeds Sales targets

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Ownership of program design and strategy for marketing and selling Mobile Services
- Close partnership and cross-functional collaboration with teams across Store Operations, Communications, Omnichannel, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Marketing, Services, and Field to develop and implement executable selling programs and identify educational, operational, and systemic needs to drive our business results and customer experience
- Works closely with the Integrated Marketing team to plan, create and execute marketing campaigns to support weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activation goals.
- Provides operational direction, ensuring the achievement of financial and non-financial objectives including sales, expense control, productivity, customer satisfaction (internal and external) and the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations
- Supports the field team with the planning for onsite and offsite event such as offers and marketing support
- Ongoing partnership with Field team - communicate and review sales performance metrics and key improvement opportunities to Retail Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis; work with field leaders to turnaround negative trends and leverage learnings from top performers

**Some of what you need**:

- Post-secondary education in business, eCommerce or related, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision making and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding influencing, communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter, high-energy, with ability to execute on business objectives
- Sound business judgment, financial acumen and analytical skills
- Strong understanding and experience in the Wireless space leading business to business programs
- Experience in working directly with wireless carriers to build programs to drive business outcomes
- Excited about helping Canadians Work, Learn and Grow
- Strategic mindset coupled with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable operational solutions.
- Experience creating and refining marketing and sales plans to drive market sales
- Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills
- 7-10 years’ experience in sales or customer service leadership or a related field
- 3+ years’ business strategy / business growth experience and leadership experience
- Demonstrates business acumen and the ability to build relationships at a senior level.
