Invoke Studios is currently looking to hire a Core Team of talented and varied people for a new AAA multiplayer game in the universe of D&D using the Unreal Engine.

Invoke is looking for an Art Director to join the team As an Art Director, you will be responsible to set and lead the artistic vision and its implementation through the whole lifecycle of the game. You will drive a cohesive aesthetic and collaborate with a wide range of talents across all disciplines.

**What You'll Do**
- Build and communicate the artistic vision to all of the project’s stakeholders and see to the vision through to execution in the game
- Drive the creation of art and ensure that a unified vision is maintained and that artists have clear benchmarks for asset production
- Define the quality bar for asset creation and outsourced art through key artistic documentation and pipeline specifications
- Find artistic solutions which balance creative vision with production realities of an online multiplayer game
- Review artists’ work and give feedback to ensure the highest quality expectations are met
- Collaborate with technical artists, designers and programmers to develop efficient and productive art pipelines and establish metrics which ensure artistic goals are met within technical performance targets
- Produce assets to inspire and define art direction; mood videos, image mockups etc.

**Ideally, what You'll Bring**
- Extensive production experience in video games with multiple shipped titles (including ideally one online game) and team leadership positions
- Working experience encompassing all game developement cycles from conception to release and ideally post launch
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity in one or more game art disciplines across a range of styles
- Strong knowledge in 2D and 3D techniques and tools (example: Photoshop, Maya, ZBrushm Substance Painter,...)
- Experience of working with game engine (ideally Unreal Engine)
- Understanding of fundamental art theory including principles of color, light, composition and anatomy
- Shown ability to balance aesthetics with performance and usability
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Positive influence and leadership skills - Motivates and encourages others to generate new ideas
