**Role Description**:
GardaWorld is currently hiring an Account Manager for our Protective Services business line in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of all issues in your assigned account portfolio with a focus on delivering a high level of service. You will be the liaison for clients, GardaWorld team members and internal operations and act as the primary point of contact for client service, employee performance and incident escalation. **Tasks & Duties**:

- Maximizing customer retention by driving and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Developing intimate familiarity with customer culture, requirements and day to day operations
- Ensuring customer expectations and contractual requirements are translated into operating instructions, including Standing Orders
- Facilitating activities related to new account start-ups and closeouts
- Ensuring and documenting that each site is fully staffed with trained, equipped and motivated personnel who can routinely execute on the customer s mandate, as well as the company s contractual obligations
- Driving corrective action and organizational engagement on any site specific operational or disservice issue, per requirements under our corporate standards
- Facilitating essential personnel management for staff and non-supervised accounts including evaluation of field staff
- Completing requisitions, logs, reports, and associated documentation per our corporate process
- Overseeing internal transfers of current guards within the portfolio
- Reviewing reports applicable to the business including overtime reports, account requirements, staffing updates, licence status to manage portfolio
- Completing Standing Orders, Site Hazard Assessments, and ensuring client files are updated annually
- Ensuring site operations are conducted with prescribed GardaWorld Professional Standards through regularly scheduled site visits
- Coordinating with union representatives on personnel related matters as required

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous professional experience in the Security industry is a definite asset
- Post secondary education in a Security related field is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory and or managerial experience
- Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to meet business demands
- Ability to travel to designated sites to meet with clients and field staff, as well as report to the respective branch offices
- Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire panels and CCTV systems is also required
- Familiar with access control systems
- Knowledge of life safety/fire code requirements, health & safety and system & equipment is an asset
- Extensive client awareness, security intensive, legal knowledge - (Trespass Act, use of force/liability), action oriented, able to assimilate data.
- Professional designation certification would be a considered a asset (i. e. APP, CPP, CSSM, CPOI, etc.)
