**Job Description**:
As the CIP & Compliance Intern, you will be responsible for assisting the CIP & Compliance Manager with a number of topics as well as be able to take the lead on related initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Coordinator and maintain the 5S Coordination / Auditing / Training by working with leaders and associates at all levels of the organization
- Maintain and improve Bright Idea (BI) Program through Key Performance Indicator maintenance, training managers and associates and updating the Bright Idea documentation
- Schedule and lead CIP related trainings (VSDiA, CIP orientation, Bright Idea Board, Problem Solving training etc.)
- Support Managers with Value Stream Design for Indirect Areas' (VSDiA) through running workshops
- Run and coordinator Process/Waste Analysis' in collaboration with team leaders, supervisors and associates
- Support Managers with improving their CIP maturity level
- Support the CIP committee with administrative tasks around meetings, workshops and event
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in a related post secondary program (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or other) or a recent graduate (within the last 6 months)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate both verbally & written, and exceptional active listening skills
- Highly organized with strong follow up skills, able to multi-task and have a strong attention to detail
- Self-starter, driver with an ability to motivate others
- Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Be highly coachable with a constant desire to learn and grow
- Have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities
