Rice Group's head office in Markham is current looking for an experienced System Administrator ( Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace). In this Technical Lead position, you will partner with business users and other IT teams to support, grow and mature the use of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 capabilities within the enterprise. You will lead a vendor team of Google Suite or Microsoft 365 system administrators for the operational effectiveness of adjoining technologies in the collaboration ecosystem. You will also lead the governance and steering committee with IT leaders.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Lead the company migration.
- Assist in transition and sunsetting of legacy on premises file server
- Evaluate and Transition existing networking hardware as needed
- Transition boardrooms hardware and roll out room /asset booking
- Help enforce workflow best practices for this new tooling
- Collaborate with external vendors as needed, specifically around automation
- Evaluate, prioritize and resolve emerging issues & problem scenarios
- Manage and administer new device enrollments
- Manage and remediate issues related on end point devices
- Take ownership of the overall GSuite or Microsoft 365 account management process integrated with enterprise. Develop new system processes and improve existing ones for efficient account lifecycle management
- Administer and manage the publishing and revocation of apps and extensions the enterprise mobile
- Partner with vendor IT Security & Audit to enforce strict cross platform security and audit controls
- Collaborate and lead workshops with teams to Document and support business rules, system operating procedures. Enhance documentation periodically for currency and relevance
- Act as the single point of contact for incidents, perform business impact assessments, coordinate and carry out suitable resolutions involving key technical teams. Provide problem resolution reports for management as required.
- Escalate support issues to Google or Microsoft Support, follow up and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Periodically analyze trouble tickets from lower tier teams, identify gaps, create and carry out new solutions, document and train technical support staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Must live in Ontario, Canada and able to commute everyday to the head office
- Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with ChromeOS, Windows and mac OS
- Strong expertise in administration and configuration of enterprise mobility management
- Must be a self starter, with good time management skills, requiring little or no oversight
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Must comprehend relationship between company policies, business & technical processes and procedures

Must be able to create guide documents and workshops, system operating procedures & FAQs

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
